This majestic ceremony was held at the luxurious Movenpick Hotel in Dubai. A traditional wedding with the glamour and sophistication the just took my breath away. Decorations of streaming vines of purple and pink flowers gave the grand elegance of the hotel the softness and Romance to make it as though you are in a dream castle.

I am in awe every time I am shooting a Traditional wedding and this time was no exclusion. The sophisticated beauty of the wedding jewelry, the delicate red silk dressing, in combination with the intricate henna designs on the hands and feet of the gorgeous bride seem to magically whisk you away into a beautiful fairytale of Ancient tradition. You can actually feel the power of history and culture...

 

We were invited to make a wedding photo shoot in the Miracle Gardens by the wonderful couple. Our beautiful bride Olga is from Russia and her beloved Ahmed is from Egypt. This beautiful union is the mixture of two great nations and cultures, and as you can see, the tall handsome groom and the soft gentle bride look absolutely stunning together.

The grandeur and sophistication of the Waldorf  Astoria Hotel was the perfect venue for this occasion.This was the wedding that dreams are made of! I am not exaggerating when I say that this was the spectacular event that is talked about in fairytales. The atmosphere was saturated with the romance and the sincerity of true Love.

I have known this family for quite some time. I had the great pleasure of first getting acquainted with them during a wedding photography shoot for Kate, the mother of the groom. Having been their family photographer on more than one occasion since then, when the time came for her son to tie the knot, they invited me back for another spectacular event. To tell you the truth, I felt like a welcomed guest at a friends’ wedding, and not just a photographer.

The Al-Maha Desert Resort and Spa is an excellent location for a wedding. The idyllic silence, the aura of serenity and peace through and through. In the midst of the beautiful desert where you can enjoy natures natural beauty. You can truly forget all your worries, breath in the fresh air and just relax.

What thoughts come to mind when we look at this wedding photography?!  Grandeur, elegance, sophistication! A whirlwind back in time into the world of royal families, Tsars and their gentry! You can almost hear the classical music play a waltz in the background. This time the scenario was played to the fullest with a palace ballroom and costumes of historical style. The ever so beautiful princess bride with her knight in shining armor.

I loved working on this wedding photo shoot. The whimsical castle like church of historical architecture  which is located in a beautiful park full of greenery and foliage. The dashing groom Vladimir with his Red haired bride Anna dressed in an airy white dress, resembling a mystical fairy.  It is as though they just walked off the pages of a fairytale. I cannot imagine a better combination of models with the scenery. Looking at these photographs I can feel the light-heartedness and freshness of this wonderful couple.
 

This photography shoot was arranged well in advance. Valeria and Mihail decided on a stroll through one of Moscow’s parks in the fall. Though autumn is beautiful all on its own we do face the problem of shooting conditions and weather, since it doesn’t always play by our rules. We did have to reschedule several times due to rain but, at last, we managed to schedule a day that worked and to add some boldness to the scenery, used bright colored clothing and accessories.
